Two types of Traditional Publishers

1) Traditional Publishers require agents?

A. Allen & Unwin - Australia's leading independent publisher and has been voted "Publisher of the Year" twelve times including the inaugural award in 1992 and ten times since 2000.

E. MacMillan - dedicated to publishing today’s best writers and thinkers in all formats via a group of prestigious independent publishers built on centuries of tradition and innovation.

F. Pearson - is a great publishing company that has positively impacted the publishing industry. Pearson is indeed a global publishing leader.

G. Penguin Random House - In addition to our high-profile international titles, Random House New Zealand has a very active, award-winning local publishing division which publishes around 85 titles a year, making us the most active of local publishers.

H. Simon & Schuster - pertain to children’s stories - Baby books up to age 12 and teen books.

2) Small Press Publishers do not require agents
