April Update

Wow, it is time to update everyone on what is happening with Adventure By Train. First and foremost let me say welcome to our new AdventureByTrain.com website. We are coming into a very exciting time.

The first book in this series has been in the works for three years. Can you believe it? Three years of building, developing and creating wonderful and exciting characters. Three years of Philippa and I growing as authors. Three years of ups and downs that have both stretched and taught us, so many good lessons. Praise God for everything that has come together in the three years we have been working on this our first book in Adventure By Train.

It has been an awesome experience getting to know Pipi, Haulani, Alain and Deborah as well as many others. They have had some sweet as well as intense moments getting to know each other.

Working full time and writing full time keeps this girlie pretty busy. Philippa and I are working on the last 2, 3 maybe 4 chapters of the book and then it will be off to this month. We are hoping for it to hit the bookshelves by Christmas of this year.

As the players of this world change, and events unfold, they have brought with them new ideas and challenges. Did you realise that as of you reading this blog, Book 1 is now in the past? Yet, we began writing three years ago. Our journeys to this point have been likened to our train theme. With derailing, realignment of the tracks, and learning to guard our hearts. It has taken chugging back, to remember the goal, and the main destination. I, personally, have had to learn to let go, and seen God turn things into good.
