His Train

 

The train we travel on, it has many stops to make

Each stop has its own message to be heard

One place needs to learn of the Love we can share

While another doesn't know what Mercy is for

Still another needs to be warned, Do Not Compromise

Our train will stay on track as long as we know

That God is leading, day by day, moment by moment

. He has given a great commission, for each one of us

He wants to be the conductor of our lives

He wants us to spread the good news, He's alive

Or sometimes He needs to rebuke, Don't do it!

Or warn when we have gone astray, Should feet do that?

When we read Deuteronomy chapter 6 verse 5 it says

Love Him, with all your heart, soul, and strength

As long as feet do this you will never derail

His train won't stop until it reaches Heaven.

 Book One : Adventure by Train: East to West

 The Authors.

 

Are a divinely inspired trio that, like the characters involved, have been chosen - and have accepted - to be part of an adventure that is going to change their lives for the better.

 

Introducing:

 

• Bernadette Pizzey (Author)

 

The poem posted above is the results of a dream I had in 1999 and I still remember it as though I had the dream last night.  I want to help others learn who Daddy truly is. How He helps those who seek Him out, and how He often helps by planting seeds in those who are not even searching.

 

• Philippa J Mackenzie (Research Assistant & Co-Author)

 

I love writing stories, and making up characters for them. Throughout the process I am constantly learning about myself, and Daddy. I was born to write, and if Daddy can take that love and develop it for His glory, I am all for that.

 

• Matthew Sereda (Contributor)

 

I am a musician, writer, and personal trainer, living in Toronto, Ontario. I have written motivational articles with the idea of spurring my readers to seek after Jesus. Jesus wants a relationship with His people, as God and I try to share what I have learned with others, using the Bible as a guide post. I have written a variety of different styles of music, and think music is the sin qua non of every other gift aside from the Holy Spirit given to humankind at large. I love exercise and have beaten the odds for the most part, using exercise to lessen the affects of some medical conditions I was diagnosed with.

I love the Lord and is glad Jesus didn’t quit on me: wanting to extend that same courtesy to others wherever possible.

It is because of Jesus’ love and care that I find myself grateful to be alive and able to contribute to this work.

Many thanks go to Bernadette Pizzey for considering him a valuable asset to this project.

 The Journeys.

 

With regular updates, and a blog written by the authors themselves, visitors are encouraged to follow the trials and triumphs of three untried writers working together. Our characters start out in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Their final destination is Vancouver, British Columbia. With every stop, a new adventure awaits.

 The Ministries.

 

This isn't just any kind of piece of Christian literature. Each character is based on those who have eagerly offered to be a part of this project. Many of the characters are linked to real ministries, services, and businesses. Throughout the novel, and this website, there will be a break from the story to consider a character and the ministry they are connected with. At the conclusion, every reader will have had a choice to follow a variety of adventures, and follow their favourite character to their exciting end. All those involved look forward to boosting awareness and possible donations to any relevant causes that may arise during the creation of this first novel, and the characters.
